The project was undertaken as a Design & Build Contractor with Davie + McCulloch acting as M+E Building Services and Security Advisors to the Northern Ireland Office. A performance specification was prepared together with an exemplar design and this was developed by the Design & Build Contractor.  Throughout the contract period Davie + McCulloch monitored and controlled the design development offering advice and guidance at every stage. We liaised with the contractor and his sub contractors to develop the services and in particular the security systems such that they met fully with the clients operational requirements for the building. 

The building was designed around five courtyards with each courtyard offering different facilities including 5-a-side football, horticulture and vehicle testing facilities. The Physical Education Block included games hall, swimming pool, fitness suite and changing facilities. 

Davie + McCulloch coordinated the installation of client supplied items such as time management packages and video link installations with the main and sub contractors.
